Stimme im Körper / Shared Practice
↳ Merle Thordis

Every second, we experience life with all our senses – in space and time.
In musical expression, such as singing or deep listening, each person perceives sounds and noises with a different intensity.
We use a variety of neutral resources to make intelligent behavioral decisions in a constantly changing world that we cannot fully control.
Music develops through our attention, and our intuition gives it energy.
Then: my breath, my vocal folds, resonating spaces, my body – the tone.
A sound emerges. A noise.
A sound in space, in time.
Different people, different bodies – sounds resonate together in space, shaping and inspiring one another.
They become expressions of intuition within a space shaped by humans, machines, animals, technology, and nature.
Let us sharpen our awareness of the space around us and within us.
Let us go on a small, experimental journey together –
and experience how we, the space, and our sound relate to one another,
how we can sound, resonate, and act together.
We invite you to a shared voice practice (open for all levels).
Guided by Merle Thordis, who works as a singer, choir director, and performance artist.
